Update to Latest Version (For Existing Installations)
Follow this safe upgrade workflow to update an existing deployment of MagicAI to v11.2.0 (Official Release: 24 September 2026) while preserving all users, content, templates, and database records.
Official Update Release (24 September 2026 - v11.20)
Core script updates are restricted to authorized private category access. The Extended License Patch is publicly downloadable below:
Always export a full database backup (.sql) and archive your root folder (especially .env and /public/uploads/) before proceeding with any script update.
Upgrade Workflow
Extract Update Package
Extract your MagicAI Update Archive (magicai_11.20.zip) Private Access directly into your Project Root Folder, overwriting existing core files.
Ensure your existing .env file is preserved and not replaced by an empty template.
Run System Migration Endpoint
Open your browser and visit the automated migration updater:
https://yourdomain.com/update-manualMigration Sync The system will automatically run all database migrations, create new column indexes, and update registered schemas.
Re-apply Extended License Patch & Database Settings
If core files were overwritten by the update, download and extract the Extended License Patch (MEGA) directly into your Project Root Folder (confirm overwrite).
Then, in phpMyAdmin, execute the license configuration query on settings_two:

Flush both cache endpoints to clear compiled views and regenerate menus:
